9. Pandan Butter Cake
Ingredients
230 g cake flour
1 tablespoon corn starch
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoons salt
30 g milk powder
200 g granulated sugar
200 g salted butter, Golden Churn brand
5 eggs chilling
30 g evaporated milk
50 g pandan leaves juice concentrate
1/2 teaspoons food color(green apple)
greased baking pan (3x7x3.5 inch) line bottom with wax paper
Directions
- Sift together cake flour, corn starch, baking powder, vanilla extract, salt and milk powder, eventually mix.
- Beat the butter with sugar in the mixer using a flat beater on medium speed for 10 minutes. Change the speed to low, add chilling egg and flour mixed. Next, beat in remaining on medium speed for 4 minutes then change the speed to low after add evaporated milk, pandan leaves juice concentrate and food color. Beat until batter smooth or eventually combine; set aside.
- Pour batter in prepared pan and bake at 350oF for 45 minutes, or until brown.
- Remove cake from pan, leave to cool or rest overnight before serve.
