6. Butter Cake
Ingredients
180 g cake flour
1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/8 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
250 g salted butter, Golden Churn brand
200 g granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 eggs yolk
2 eggs white
2 pans of greased baking pan (4x7.5x4.5 inch) line bottom with wax paper
Directions
- Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and vanilla extract, mix until combine; set aside.
- Beat the butter with sugar in the mixer using a flat beater on medium speed for 10 minutes. Add egg and egg yolk until combine, then
change the speed to low, add flour mixed and beat until combine; set
aside.
- Whisk the egg white in the mixer using a wire whip beater on high speed until rounded peaks are formed.
- Mix egg white whip with batter until combine.
- Pour batter in prepared pan and bake at 350oF for 40 to 45 minutes, or until done.
